Donna Ray Norton Musician Talk

Join us for an exclusive breakdown of Appalachian ballad singing culture presented by 8th generation musician Donna Ray Norton. Norton has released three albums, been featured in countless concerts, documentaries and festivals and is a highly regarded member of the Madison County ballad singers and storytellers. This program is a being presented in partnership with the Blowing Rock Art & History Museum and is free thanks in part to a grant from South Arts in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts and the North Carolina Arts Council.
