Madison County Barn Day

The ninth annual Madison County Barn Day on Saturday, September 14 begins with a tour (starting at 1:30pm) and will end with a meal at Mars Landing Galleries. This new location will take you from downtown Mars Hill to a few unique barns in the Mars Hill area. After the tour, you will drive over to the Mars Landing Galleries for a meal and music. One farm on the tour is the historic Anderson property, which has 4 different barns. Another, which also has multiple barns, has an unusual flue-cured style barn.

Advance purchase of tickets is required and the price is $45 per person (Appalachian Barn Alliance members $40 per person). Only 36 people will be scheduled for the guided tour. Since space on the tour is limited, make your reservations before they are sold out. If you just want to join us for the after-party, call for a special price for that part of the day.
