Friday Night Live Concert Series: Steady Hand String Band

Hailing from Long Creek, SC, Steady Hand String Band is an old-time string band performing tunes that originated mostly before the 1930s with a handful of old country tunes thrown in as well. Their modern renditions of these traditional tunes come from a desire to preserve the oral tradition of folk music in Appalachia.
