Traditional Music Guidebook


The premiere guidebook to discovering the traditional music of the North Carolina mountains is Blue Ridge Music Trails: Finding a Place in the Circle, a project of the North Carolina Arts Council.
 
This comprehensive, travel-size book leads visitors to more the 160 music venues and events in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and Virginia.  These include festivals, jamborees, square dances and local jam sessions filled with bluegrass, old-time string band music and other traditional forms of music and dance.
