Gather 'Round the Blue Ridge
The first annual meeting of the Blue Ridge National Heritage Area was held September 17, 2007 at the Lioncrest facility of the Biltmore Estate.

The meeting highlighted regional initiatives, local successes, and emerging opportunities for heritage preservation and promotion within the Blue Ridge National Heritage Area.

The day also featured craft demonstrations by Max Woody, Ila Hatter, Ramona Lossie and Eileen Hallman; performance poetry by Shari Spires; and music by David Holt, Laura Boosinger, Buddy Melton, and Junior Appalachian Musician Jody Anderson.
